Residents rally against Quantum DC's proposed 1,200 MW AI data centre in South Australia's Adelaide Hills

ABC News reports a rally in Mannum on Saturday against the 120-hectare Tungkillo hyperscale site, about 41 km east of Adelaide, with first stage planned for 2028, drawing support from Liberal, Greens and One Nation politicians; residents cite land, water, noise and light pollution, and Quantum DC says it will not lodge a development application until consultation sessions postponed to late November.
