Collaborating AI agents choose a question, derive a result and test it experimentally on quantum spins in diamond

In the arXiv preprint, LLM agents that review each other derived the minimum calibration settings for a family of microwave pulse sequences; when signal drift made a first experiment inconclusive they revised the protocol without loosening acceptance criteria, and the rerun supported the prediction.
