Amazon reports AWS sales up 39% to $46 billion as AI spending turns free cash flow negative

Trailing twelve-month free cash flow was an outflow of $42.4 billion, which Amazon attributes mainly to AI investment; AWS is at a $184 billion annualized run rate.
