Anthropic is in talks to lease a data centre campus near Edmonton backed by a 920 MW gas plant, Globe and Mail reports

Two unnamed sources say Anthropic is negotiating with Beacon Data Centers over its Sturgeon County site; Alberta's regulator approved the power plant on 23 October, and Anthropic and Beacon declined to comment.
