Five French publisher groups file an EU antitrust complaint over Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode

CPA, FNPS, GESTE, SEPM and SPIIL say in a 29 October statement that the features use publishers' content without effective control and can substitute for visits to their sites; the complaint itself is not public and adds to the Commission's December 2025 investigation.
