Japan plans approval-based security screening for data centres and cloud services, Nikkei reports

AzerNews, citing Nikkei, says the system would start after 2027 under the economy and communications ministries, vet operators and their equipment suppliers, and allow warnings or suspensions, and that it is expected to effectively exclude Chinese companies; there is no government text yet.
