South Korea names ex-Kakao executive Kim Se-woong to head its in-house National AI Service Innovation Task Force

The Ministry of Science and ICT says Kim, a former Kakao senior vice president, serves from 2 November to 30 September 2028 over a 61-member unit, 26 of them private-sector developers, that will build public AI services itself rather than relying mainly on contractors; which services it ships first is not stated.
