FCC exempts robots from Lightberry, OMRON and four other makers from its Covered List after Department of War approval

Public Notice DA 26-1181, released 30 October, says Department of War conditional approvals, tied to onshoring plans and continued vetting, exempt the named devices from the July 2026 listing of foreign-produced advanced robots; Lightberry says its Lumi is the only humanoid cleared so far, which the notice does not itself state.
