OpenAI will shut down Prism, its AI LaTeX workspace for scientists, on 1 January 2027

A notice on OpenAI's developer forum says users must export projects before the date, after which Prism data is deleted, and points them to Codex; OpenAI has not given a reason for retiring the tool launched in January.
