Spotify plans an AI covers and remix tool for the first quarter of 2027, weighing $4 to $5 a month, FT reports

Citing people familiar, the FT says the fee would sit on top of subscriptions and the tool could be unveiled around the February Grammys; licensing deals cover UMG, Merlin, Kobalt and Believe, while Sony and Warner are still negotiating.
