Turkey opens antitrust probe into Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode and imposes interim measures for news publishers

The Turkish Competition Authority says it is examining whether the features cut traffic to publishers, use unfair content terms or discriminate; until a ruling, Google may not force news sites into its AI features, must reflect the economic value of their content and cannot tie opt-outs to search indexing.
