UK government survey finds 32% of businesses used AI in 2026, double the 16% of 2025

DSIT's second-wave survey of 3,503 businesses, run from 7 January to 21 April 2026, finds 52% uptake among larger firms and 61% in information and communication, with use concentrated in accessible, low-complexity tools.
