Vercel Labs open-sources agent-desktop, letting AI agents operate desktop apps through OS accessibility trees

The Rust CLI and C library, version 1.0.2 released on 30 October under Apache-2.0, returns JSON snapshots with a ref for each actionable element on macOS, Windows and Linux; its claim of 78% to 96% fewer tokens on dense Electron apps is self-reported and there is no independent benchmark yet.
