US Rep. Vindman introduces Data Center Oversight Act requiring disclosure of ownership, energy and water use

His office says the bill would have the Energy Information Administration collect and publish data on existing and proposed data centres, including costs that may pass to ratepayers and whether owners signed non-disclosure agreements with officials; it has only been introduced.
