Review finds AI models for myeloproliferative neoplasms accurate in cohorts but none tested in interventional trials

AJMC reports on a Blood Reviews narrative review by investigators from Italy, the UK and Spain: models can classify subtypes, grade marrow fibrosis and estimate survival, but only tools estimating fibrosis from a blood count were tested prospectively and none showed benefit for treatment decisions.
