Apple opens its new Siri AI to every app developer in a developer preview

Any app can now plug into Siri AI through App Intents in the 27.3 betas of iOS, iPadOS, macOS and visionOS, and new skills chain several actions into one request.
Why it matters
Until now Siri's new AI features worked mainly with Apple's own apps, so opening them to third-party apps is the step that decides whether Siri becomes a general assistant on Apple devices. Developers expose actions and data through App Intents and the Spotlight semantic index, and Siri AI can then act on them. The preview supports English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish, with more languages coming. Watch which major apps ship support and when it leaves beta.
