Survey of 7,200 adults finds one in 15 has experienced AI-generated image-based abuse
The RMIT-led study, supported by Google, covered the US, UK and Australia and found 7% had faced non-consensual AI intimate images or threats, with men reporting it at more than twice the rate of women.
