Israeli start-up 42AI emerges with $62.5 million and a world model it says predicts how traders behave
The company told TechCrunch it works with 10 large brokerages on liquidity, margin and hedging; the seed money came from the founders and Infinity Group, a firm founded by the chief executive's father, over three years.
Why it matters
World models are usually discussed as simulations of physical environments for robots; 42AI applies the idea to individual people, turning traits inferred from customer records and support calls into inputs for a transformer that estimates the probability of each decision. Chief executive Amit Gal-Or says the model reaches an F1 score of 0.8 to 0.85 on trading direction and volume, and that revenue is above seven figures. The founders call the risk that brokers exploit such predictions a valid concern and point to regulation and an internal ethics committee.
