Nooks gets a $500 million General Catalyst commitment to push AI sales agents

The Customer Value Fund takes a share of the returns its capital generates rather than equity; terms were not disclosed, and Nooks launched its Revenue Agent Platform the same day.
Why it matters
The deal uses revenue-share financing rather than a classic equity round, a sign of how investors are funding AI application companies' growth spending. Nooks says sales is the next profession AI will reshape after coding, legal work and customer support. It reports more than 2,000 customers, including Cursor, Notion, Replit, Glean and HubSpot, and 135% net revenue retention, and says it is on track to nearly triple annual recurring revenue by year-end without giving the figure. Watch whether the agent platform's results justify the capital.
