Alibaba Qwen posts "The becoming begins" teaser with no model name or date
Official @Alibaba_Qwen post at 12:00 UTC Nov 6 cites Zhuangzi’s Kun blank; community reads Qwen 4, but Alibaba named no release, weights or benchmarks.
Why it matters
Alibaba confirmed in September that Qwen 4 was in training. The Nov 6 image leaves the fish’s name blank in the opening of the Zhuangzi, where Kun becomes the bird Peng. Neither the post nor the image says “Qwen 4”. At check time no Qwen 4 listing appeared on OpenRouter, models.dev or Qwen’s Hugging Face page. Attendee reports of “Qwen4 next week” from late October remain unverified in company documents. Watch for named Max, Plus, Flash or 27B listings.
